MaryLou Knabel is Vice President of Home Care Services for Allied Services in Clarks Summit, PA.  Ms. Knabel oversees both Home Health and In-Home Services for the Agency, providing all aspects of home care services including attendant care, personal care and financial management services, as well as home health care to people with physical disabilities and seniors in 23 counties in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania.

Ms. Knabel has served as chair of the Resource and Development Committee for the Pennsylvania Providers Coalition Association.  She is a member of the Long-Term Living Training Institute, P4A, Department of Aging, and has served on several statewide subcommittees with the Office of Long-Term Living.  She is also chair-elect for the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging Coalition.

Ms. Knabel has a BS in Accounting and an M.S. in Gerontology from Marywood University.

As a community volunteer, Ms. Knabel has been active with her church youth group as a musical director and church organist.  She has also served as chair for the American Cancer Society’s Luminaria Committee for Relay for Life, and worked as a volunteer for the allocations committee for the United Way of Lackawanna County for four years.

Ms. Knabel and her husband are the parents of nine children and reside in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
