Ronald Kim
Ronald (Ron) Kim is a Vice President of Information Technology for Exelon Corporation, which is the parent company of PECO. Ron has responsibility for all Information Technology at PECO, including operations of systems that run and monitor the delivery of electricity and gas, “Smart Meter” and “Smart Grid” projects and IT strategy and planning. Ron also has some IT responsibility at Commonwealth Edison, the utility company serving the Chicago area. Prior to moving to Philadelphia in 2008, Ron lived in Michigan and was a Partner with Accenture, a large global consulting firm. Ron has a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Ron’s wife Dr. Pamela Kim is a Philadelphia native and together they have three children. Ron became involved in PATF since it was an ideal way to bring his interest in technology to a role where he could help those in need.
