The World Institute on Disability profiled PATF in their April, 2011 newsletter, EQUITY. EQUITY is focused on asset development for people with disabilities, and their article on PATF describes how a low-interest loan helped a person who had insufficient credit purchase a vehicle so that he could go to work. The article also includes a brief history of the federal Assistive Technology (AT) Act and the Alternative Financing Programs.
