is a central site that allows you to request a free credit file disclosure, commonly called a credit report, once every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy
is a national coalition of organizations dedicated to improving the financial literacy of pre-kindergarten through college-age youth by providing advocacy, research, standards and educational resources. This website includes information and links to these resources, initiatives and state activities.
Mint
is a free, on-line resource that helps participants increase financial literacy, learn about budgeting, and set goals. The program helps bring together all financial accounts, automatically categorizes transactions, helps establish budgets and monitors spending. The material is presented in a variety of ways so that the participant can monitor his/her own financial picture.
MoneySmart
is a comprehensive financial education curriculum designed to help low- and moderate-income individuals outside the financial mainstream improve their financial skills and create positive banking relationships.
World Institute on Disability (WID)
is a non-profit policy center that focuses its work on issues and problems that directly affect people’s ability to live full and independent lives. WID’s programs, including Employment Benefits and Disability Initiative and Access to Assets, are described on their website as well as links to other publications (Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), Work Incentives, monthly EQUITY e-newsletter) and resources.
